13.         HEAT TREATMENT QUENCH FLUIDS
	a.	Synthetic (Aqueous solution)
			1. 2.	Alpha Quench A: Aqueous solution heat treatment quenching fluid (240cSt) designed for high initial quenching rate in the critical hardening range to develop maximum hardness coupled with slow final speed throughout the lower temperatures to minimize distortion. It is an aqueous solution of liquid organic polymers and non-nitride corrosion inhibitors. Alpha Quench A is suitable for medium carbon, low alloy steels (such as 760); high carbon, medium alloy steels (O1); induction hardening of medium carbon steels and solution annealing of aluminum castings. Heat Treatment Water Conditioner: is a nitrite based corrosion control product for use in straight water quenches to control rust on steel parts.
	b.	Petroleum-Accelerated Quenching
			1.	Alpha Quench 5300- high speed quench oil. Heat treatment quenching oil (20cSt) designed for high speed quenching operations (up to 120 deg C) to develop maximum hardness and minimal distortion. AlphaQuench is formulated with parafinic oil for maximum thermal stability and longer bath life. It is good for tightly packed in  basket and optimal circulation is not possible. AlphaQuench 5300 has low viscosity for less drag out rates.
	c.	Marquenching/ Martemping
			1. 2.	Marquench 325: Heat treatment quenching oil (63cSt) designed for marquenching operations (up to 177oC) which require a medium quenching speed, in order to develop maximum hardness and minimal distortion. Marquench 325 has low viscosity, slower   cooling in the convection phase in order to minimize distortion. It is formulated with a paraffinic base stock for maximum thermal stability plus a high flash point to minimize the risk of fire hazard.  Marquench 325 is fortified with anti-oxidants for a longer bath life. Marquench 900:  Heat treatment quenching oil (180cSt) designed for higher marquenching operations (up to 204oC) which require a faster speed, in order to develop maximum hardness and minimal distortion.  Marquench 900 has high viscosity, slower cooling in the convection phase in order to minimize distortion and a faster cooling after convection phase. It is formulated with a paraffinic base stock for maximum thermal stability plus a high flash point to minimize the risk of fire hazard.
